"Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." - Matthew 10:39

Otto Koning was a missionary in New Guinea. He worked among a native tribe that had known only their village ways. One of those village ways was stealing from others. When Otto and his wife arrived and moved into a hut, the natives often came by to visit. The Konings would notice that after the natives left the missionaries' home, various household items had disappeared. They saw these items again when they went to preach in the natives' village.

The only fruit Otto could grow on the island was pineapples. Otto loved pineapples, and he took pride in the pineapples he was able to grow. However, whenever the pineapples began to ripen, the natives would steal them. Otto could never keep a ripe pineapple for himself. This was a frustration, and he became angry with the natives. All during the seven-year period in which this took place, Otto preached the gospel to these natives, but never had a conversion.

The more the natives stole, the angrier Otto became. Finally, one day Otto had a German Shepherd dog flown in from another missionary to protect his pineapple garden after other frustrated efforts failed. This only further alienated the natives from him.

Otto took a furlough to the United States and attended a conference on personal rights. At this conference, he discovered that he was frustrated over this situation because he had taken personal ownership of his pineapple garden. After much soul searching, he gave his garden to God. Soon the natives started having problems among their tribe. They discovered that Otto was the reason for their problems because he gave his garden to his God. The natives saw a correlation between what Otto had done and their own lives being affected by calamities in their village. When Otto gave his garden to God, he no longer got angry and was free from worry. The natives started bringing him fruit from the garden because they didn't want any more calamities to come into their village.

The light came on one day when a native said to Otto, "You must have become a Christian, Otto. You don't get angry anymore. We always wondered if we would ever meet a Christian." They had never associated Otto with the kind of person he was preaching about because his message did not line up with his life. Otto was broken in spirit when he realized he had been such a failure.

At the end of seven years, he witnessed his first conversion, and many began coming to Christ once he fully gave his garden to God. The fruit grew so abundant that Otto began exporting it and growing other types of fruit, such as bananas. His village became the most evangelized in the whole region, yet for seven years he had not one convert.

Otto realized something each of us must realize: To gain your life you must lose it, along with your possessions. It was only when he gave all his possessions to God that he became free from them. God measured back to him manifold once He had complete ownership.

Do you have some possessions that you need to give up to God today? Let God have all that you have. Become a steward, not an owner. You will be surprised at how well God can take care of His possessions.

How safe is my money with Mutual Funds

How safe is my money with Mutual Fund...
What I am going to share is what happened with a mutual fund company.I want you to be careful. Some time back my friend who is a pastor doing ministry among gypsies got a phone call and his known person asked for his account number in ICICI Bank saying some body wants to transfer 15 rs in his account. He thought that it will be 15000/- and gave his account number. Now daily the person called him and enquired him about the money credited in his account. One week later when he went to check in the ATM he was shocked to see that 15 lacks was credited in his account.
This pastor came to me that INR 15 lacks is credited into my account and that person is asking me to withdraw the money and give to me.Immediately I told him to ask for the source of money. When asked they said that they have some problem in their partnership firm and want this money to be credited in separate account.I was not convinced and when I saw the mini statement I came to know about the source as HDFC MF.When I asked him weather he has any account with HDFC MF He said no.
Now the doubt started coming to my mind that something is wrong. And immediately I asked him to come to the branch where he is having account. When we met the branch Manager he was surprised and asked us to give a letter stating this money is not ours. And he told us to come after 2 days for further action. But my friend now started getting threatenings from that fellows and scared to be here in Chennai so next morning we both flew to Mumbai as the money was credited from HDFC MF mumbai.Next day we reached the office and everybody refused to help as it was a critical case and some how we met the right person. They took us to a place which was restricted and no outsider can go.Then we handed over the cheque after deducting the expenses. While speaking to them what we heard was really horrifying.
Raja (name changed) had a account with HDFC MF and my friend's name is also Raja.So the employees of the organisation manipulated and gave a request of partial withdrawal of 15 lacks who had nearly 3 crores with them.Above all they took signature verification fro ICICI bank and I just don't know how the signature match. As culprits are working in the company I don't think the money is safe.
They also told us that they put their money in nationalised bank.
Pl assure yourself before investing in these areas.Pl pass this link to others and give the awareness.

Kashmir Door is opening from 19th oct

I started my journey from Chennai by 19th oct by Andaman Exp.The Train left Chennai Central by 6.00 A.M. took 57 hour to reach Jammu rail head. From there I had to wait for 6 hours for the Cab to reach Srinagar As handful of people were going to Srinagar.Started the journey by 10.00 P.M. on 22nd and reached the Jawaher tunnel by 4.00 A.M.and had to to wait for the opening of Tunnel at 8.00A.M.Reached Srinagar by 10.30A.M.Bro Raja (name Changed)came to pick me up.

After some time of rest we started for a prayer drive then we went for a bible study for a punjabi family in Srinagar. Then we came back to the house by 9.30 p.m.The climate was very chill and the mercury went upto 2 degee at the particular area.A spl electric blanket was provided for me apart from the thick Rajai.

Next day woke up and at around 10.00a.m. we started for Banihal a place 120 km away from Srinagar in Motor Cycle as public transport is time consuming and not regular. On the way we met a local Kashmiri person to whom gospel was shared and his father got healing after a prayer by Bro Raja.

We reached Banihal by 1.00 p.m.and met Bro Ameer(Name changed) and was amazed to hear his testimony how he got saved.Upto year 2000 he was involved in militancy and due to some criminal activities he fled away and went to Agra where a lady shared the gospel and led him to Jesus Christ.3 months back he returned to Kashmir and had surrendered to the police by the grace of God out of 2 cases one is cleared and the second in on the run.Pl pray..He has 4 children and as he became christian there is no support for him from the local people. His relatives wants him to send his Children to the local school where there faith wil be taught as he is not able to pay the fees which is just 12,000/- for 3 children I asked him to pray about it and the lord will make a way.If you are led by the spirit you can support him in this cause.I encouraged him to do the work of the lord as the best vocation. Then we went to one ex militant commander to whom he shared the gospel and he is reading the Bible. We went and the gospel was shared clearly.Praise the lord. Then we met one fruit seller whose spinal chord was broken and medically its not possible to be cured. We returned back to Srinagar by 7.00p.m.

Next day we started for Avanthipura where our dear brother has started a Tailoring class which is 38 km from Srinagar.Again there we went to a family and prayed then started for Anantnag to meet a christian doctor who is running a hospital and also doing the ministry in a wonderful way.It was Friday and people were standing in the road though it was a local bandh that day.

Situation is tense and people find it difficult to live due to continuous bandh.Night itself I started for Jammu.Morning I reached Jammu by 5.30a.m.and my train for Delhi was at 9.15a.m.I got a seat and reached Delhi by 8.00p.m. Next day I got a phone call that they have started sunday worship in the place called Banihal where we met that brother. The lord is wonderful and doing wonderous thing Pl continue to pray for the people of Kashmir to be saved.
