LOOK INTO THE MIRROR

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Bible says, we all should be unveiled and look into the mirror to see the Glory of God in our life. How it can be happened? We should get the image of God from glory to glory by the Spirit of The Lord. To get this image we need to be born again in Christ as a new creation. If we are not recreated in Christ we cannot see the Glory of God. Stephen saw the Glory of God when he is in trouble (Acts 7:55),  Isaiah saw the Glory of God in the initial stage of the prophetic ministry (Isaiah 6:1). To see the Glory of God we need to look our self in the mirror that is the word of God.
Apostle Paul says that when we come to Christ we all will be a new creation in him (2 Corinthians 5:17). Paul is an efficient author who shows the reader the exact way to see the Glory of God. Paul calls the Word of God as a mirror, and he wants us to look into the word of God. In the beginning of conversion we may not be able to see the mirror perfectly for we are veiled as the Old Testament priest who covers the face while reading the Word of God to the people. But that veil is removed by the death of Jesus Christ who gave us access to The Father in heaven. God made his light shine in our hearts to give us the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6). The more we approach Christ we see the Glory of God.
We should remember that we are created in the image of God as the righteousness of God in Christ. We should not be like the one who listen to the word and does not do what it says; James says about this man as one who looks in the mirror and forgets what he has seen after sometime (James 1:23-24). We we may see now a poor reflection in the mirror, but we shall see the God face to face as Moses saw the Glory of God (1 Corinthians 13:12; Numbers 12:8, Deuteronomy 34:10). This image of God is reflected in us when the Holy Spirit turns on us.
            GOD BLESS YOU
