Autumn Splendor

We see them every autumn, their beauty is so grand
Their colors are so perfect, they’re never ever bland
There’s oranges and yellows and burgundy too,
My heart skips a beat at the colors I view.

The artist who painted these beautiful leaves,
Also painted the waters several shades of blue
Lakes, streams and rivers all various weaves
Birds with bright colors and sunsets too!

The leaves of these trees will be gone all too fast
But the artist who painted them remains to the last
He fills our hearts with beauty, with colors that blend
His name is Jesus, the beginning and the end.
