If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him (James 1:5) (AMP).
Dear people of God Bible always speak about having the wisdom. It teaches about the importance of having the wisdom. For wisdom is needed in each and every moment of our life. We should not get confused with wisdom and knowledge. Though they both look similar but they are different in what they mean. Knowledge gives the facts and the wisdom applies those facts to our life. This is what the difference between the wisdom and the knowledge. Bible speaks about both but Bible gives importance to the wisdom. When Bible suggests us to be perfect as the Father in Heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48), means God wants us to be wise as He is wise. Bible says, He is the truly wise God (Romans 16:27). Prophet Jeremiah says, the LORD has founded the world by His wisdom (Jeremiah 10:12) and somewhere else Bible says, God has formed the world by the word of His mouth (Psalm 33:6). If we see these two verses, they mean the one and same. That is God has created the worlds by His wisdom of the words of His mouth. Then a question arises, where can we find this wisdom and how can we find it?
Bible answers this question saying, having the fear of the Lord is the beginning of the wisdom (Psalm 111:10). Fear means lifting up God and honoring God. It is not the fear of any destruction that comes. It is simply honoring God in everything that we do. Apostle Paul says, the wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ (Colossians 2:3). Yes, having faith in Christ and approaching the Father through Christ fills us with wisdom. For Jesus is the only way to The Father (John 14:6) and those whoever approaches Father through Jesus Christ, He never rejects them. Bible tells that the wisdom is sweet to the soul that gives future hope (Proverbs 24:14), as we feed our bodies with food to nourish, we need to feed our soul with wisdom to nourish. When we lack wisdom that means that we are perished. To prosper in the life we need wisdom and knowledge. And these two things come from God and they are good and perfect. This wisdom is calling us to come closer to it (Proverbs 1:20) and this is the supreme thing we should get, when we esteem the wisdom it will exalt us (Proverbs 4:7-8).
There is a danger in our life if we do not have this wisdom and knowledge. Bible says, the people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Yes without knowledge we cannot know the facts, when we do not know the facts we cannot apply facts to life. We need not to fear about it. We have a God who is a giving God, when we feel that we are living with lack of knowledge, we should ask God and He gives us without finding our faults and sins. Why we should ask God? Can’t we find it somewhere else? The answer is a big “NO”, Bible says, wisdom and knowledge they both come from God (Proverbs 2:6). Even though we feel that we have found wisdom in this world so we can live with that one, see what Bible warns us, the wisdom that we get from this world is foolishness in the sight of God (1 Corinthians 3:19), for this wisdom and knowledge both are hidden in Christ and we can do nothing apart from Him (John 15:5). Everyone is filled with wisdom, but Bible says if we lacks, it doesn't mean if we do not have wisdom, but it means when we feel lacking it then we should ask God and God will grant us and make us to live the life with prosperity.
            GOD BLESS YOU
