Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23:6) (NLT).
When God has created us, He has created us with a greater plan and purpose for us. After creating the universe God wanted someone to rule over the creation (Genesis 1:26). Before making us the rulers of the creation God has created us in His own image and likeness, so that we can dwell in the house of the Lord as the children of God. Jesus Christ when he died on the cross, he rose again and went into the heaven and sat at the right hand side of the Father in Heaven (Hebrews 8:1) and Jesus made us eligible to share in the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1). Now according to the scriptures, the heaven is waiting for us. The Heaven is calling us to join in the family of the God and dwell in the house of The Lord. Psalmist David understands this call very well and explains us that He will dwell in the house of the Lord (Psalm 23:6). With God we are keeping better and better, but the best is yet to come in our life.
Apostle Paul says that the tent we are living in will be destroyed on a fine day, though it happens we will have an assurance that we will have an eternal house that is built by God and that too is in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1), we all know the fact that one day we all will die, and the body that we are feeling proud of now will get vanished, but as the believers and the followers of Christ it will not be going to put an end to our life. We will have another life as we keep walking in faith. We have two options for the greater life; it could be in the heaven or in the hell. We have to decide where we should dwell. Bible says, we have a heavenly calling, Apostle Paul says it is assured dwelling place for us. So let us check our life where we will be going to dwell after our physical body vanishes.
As the believers and the followers of Christ, God wants us to be confident about the future that is reserved for us. As long as we live in the body we are away from God (2 Corinthians 5:6), so when the body on this earth vanishes we dwell in the house of the Lord. Apostle Paul says we prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). When we live with this confident we will surely reach the heavenly calling and dwell in the house of the Lord. In the heavenly life we will have no tears, no sufferings, no crying or pain. The reason is that the older order of things has passed away (Revelation 21:4). We need to believe in Christ to meet the heavenly calling, for Jesus said, I am the way (John 14:6).
            GOD BLESS YOU
