“Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do” (Ephesians 5:17 NLT).
While living in this world we find different types of life style can be followed. They all are of this world, but this is not what God is expecting from us as His children. When we become the children of God? Apostle John says, when we believe in the one and only son of God, Jesus Christ who came into the world for us to dwell among us, that moment we will become the children of God (John 1:12). We become His children by the right. When we became His children, God wants us to get separated from others and live a holy life, we should not touch any unclean thing then only God will receive us. Then God will be our father and we will be his sons and daughters (2 Corinthians 6:17-18). In our life the most important things are to know the will of God and live according to it (Romans 12:1-2). Apostle Paul calls it as the right act of worship.
Bible says we should be careful about how we are living. Bible suggests we should not live as the unwise lives, but as the wise lives. We should be ready to use every opportunity, for we are living in the evil days (Ephesians 5:15-17). We should be wise, not to be foolish. Living a life on this earth without knowing the reason why we are placed on earth is a foolish thing. God never play games with our life, but He wants us to understand the will of God in our life. It is we ourselves create the barriers in our life by looking at the wrong things of this world and creating the barriers in our life to know the will of God. When we look at the things of this world, the enemy shows them to us very beautiful so that we could get tempted to move out of the will of God (Genesis 3:6).
God’s will in our life is not just a feeling. His plan is not an emotional sensation in our life. It is a practical and proven one in our life. God’s will is not just a bunch of formulas to be followed in our life. It is greater than a formula. God’s most important plan in our life is to have a relationship. God wants us to know Him more for He already knew us. Knowing each other is the basic foundation of a relationship. If we failed to know the other person in a relationship leads us to the failure in that relationship. That is why Bible says in the Book of James that we should come close to God, and then He will come close to us (James 4:8). He already knew us (Psalm 139:16); we should know Him more and more. Apostle Paul says, God will fill us with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). Let us come closer to God to know Him more, and then we will come to know the will of God in our life and God will help us to live according to the will of God. Irrespective of the situations we are going through God has a plan for our life, when we live according to what God asks us we will see the fulfillment of his will in our life.
GOD BLESS YOU
