And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work (Romans 11:6) (NKJV).
In these days we have been discussing about the Grace of God. We know that we are saved because of His undeserved grace through faith in Jesus Christ, but not the greater works we are involved with (Ephesians 2:8-9). God waits to be gracious towards us when we come to Him (Isaiah 30:18). Apostle John gives us the way how the Grace entered into the word, John says, the law has come through Moses, but the grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Yes, the grace that God has given to us is through the faith in His Son Jesus Christ, so when we have faith in Jesus Christ we will be given that grace to be saved from the sinful life. We cannot earn this grace through the righteous works that we do, but this grace is a gift from God that comes with no cost to us. Apostle Paul says, if we are successful to earn the grace through the works, then it is not grace. The main purpose behind our approaching the throne of God is to find His grace (Hebrews 4:16).
All the blessings into our life flows through this grace, but before receiving this grace we need to meet all His conditions to enjoy the blessings that were given to us by God. To meet the conditions of God, our motives and attitudes must be right. For example if we see the blessings of God related with finances in our life, there are certain conditions to be met. Let us see them, First, greedy about money is a sinful nature (Colossians 3:5), love of money is the starting point of all sins (1 Timothy 6:10), these will make our thoughts impure about financial blessings of God in our life. Second, pursuing wealth by sinful ways and calling them the blessings of God is again a sin against God. Prophet Jeremiah says those who earn wealth by unjust ways will lose their riches and they will become poor as the time moves on (Jeremiah 17:11), those who gather wealth by troubling others is gathering the wealth for others to enjoy it (Proverbs 28:8). Third, Trusting in the wealth they have will make us to sin against God. Prophet Jeremiah says, Let not the rich boasts about their riches (Jeremiah 9:23). Yet another place Bible quotes, he who trusts in his riches will surely fall (Proverbs 11:28). Fourth, God blesses us with Financial blessings to help others, but not for self serving or for self- interests, Bible says, the one who gives the needy will become wealthy, but the one who is stingy will become poor in the days to come (Proverbs 11:24).
God blesses us with a purpose that we can be a blessing for others. God never gives us His blessings to live a self serving life, but to serve others with what we have. Jesus said, when we give it will given to us more than what we give (Luke 6:38), if we withhold and become stingy, then we will lose what we have and we will join the needy people. God’s grace is given to us that we can be gracious to the needy people. In my life I have people those who were gracious towards me when I was in need, I will not forget them in all the days of my life from the least to the highest, God made them to be a blessing for my life. God wants us to use the blessings properly and for His Glory. Whatever we do on this earth we will be rewarded for them when we appear before the seat of Judgment (2 Corinthians 5:10). When we store up things for ourselves we cannot be rich towards God (Luke 12:21). We as the followers of Christ, we need to be rich towards God and then He will make us to be rich in all the things.
GOD BLESS YOU
