Thou shalt not take thy wife for granted, but will honour and respect her as thy equal. (1 Pet 3:7)
Thy highest allegiance, except God, shall be to thy wife, not thy relatives or friends. (Gen 2:24)
Thou shalt frequently tell thy wife how important & valuable she is to thee. (Phil 2:3; Prov 31:10-11)
Thou shalt hold thy wife's love by the same means that thou won it. (Sos 5:10-16)
Thou shalt actively establish family discipline with thy wife's help. (Eph 6:4)
Remember to do all the little things for thy wife when you say you will. (Mt 5:37)
Keep thine eyes on thy own wife, not thy neighbors. (Prov 5:15-20; Job 31:1; Jer 5:8)
Thou shalt make every effort to see things from thy wife's point of view. (Gen 21:12)
Thou shalt not fail to kiss thy wife every morning. (Sos 8:1)
Thou shalt not be stingy with thy wife when it comes to money. (Esther 5:3)

The Bible lists some specific sins which defile us:

1. IDOLATRY OR SPIRITUAL HARLOTRY. Christians are referred to as the Bride of Christ. When our hearts go after
other lovers (gods), we commit the sin of spiritual adultery. Idolatry can also be an image, an idea or a picture in our
minds of how we think things ought to go. (Ezekiel 20:7, 18, 30; 23:30, 38; 5:11;36:18; 22:4; Hosea 5:3; 6:3; Jeremiah
2:20-27; Revelation 14:3-4).

2. SEXUAL SIN (adultery, fornication, bestiality, incest, molestation, inappropriate touch, lust, etc.) (Genesis 34:2-5, 13;
Numbers 5:12-14,20,27-29; Deuteronomy 24:4; Leviticus18:20-24, 28, 30; Ezekiel 22:10-12; 23:7, 13,30,38; 33:36).

3. EATING FOOD SACRIFICED TO IDOLS or any sin against a weaker person or child (wounds) imprints the conscience
and cause the person to pattern after the perpetrator. (I Corinthians 8:10-12).

4. A ROOT OF BITTERNESS. We defile others and others defile us with a root of bitterness. (Hebrews 12:15).

5. TOUCHING THE DEAD, THE BONES OF THE DEAD OR GRAVES. We are kings and priests. In the Old Testament
the children of Israel were not allowed to touch the dead except in certain burial situations. But even then they had to go
through ceremonial cleansing. It has been my experience in ministering deliverance that demons from the dead are
transferred to the living in this way. (Leviticus 21:1, 3-5, 11; Numbers 19:13-20; Ezekiel 44:25).

6. THE TONGUE. The words we speak or the words others speak over us. (Matthew 15:11; Mark 7:15, 20-21; James 3:6;
Proverbs 12:18; 15:4; 17:20; 18:6,21; 21:23).

7. CAUSING SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO PASS THROUGH THE FIRE through not training them up in the way they
should go. Also through not properly loving, protecting, nurturing them (Leviticus 20:3-4; Ezekiel 20:31).


9. THROUGH WHAT A PERSON SEES AND HEARS (television, movies, radio, music, pornography, dirty jokes and
stories etc.). The Word of God is seed and words are seeds. We are referred to as soil (Matthew 13; Mark 4; Luke 8). In
Isaiah 5, we are also referred to as the vineyard of the Lord. Deuteronomy 22:9 says, "We are not to plant two kinds of
seed in our vineyard because the bad seed will defile the good". Hosea 10:12 says, "We are to sow with a view to
righteousness". Galatians 6:7-8 says "What a man sows this also he will reap for the one who sows to his own flesh shall
from the flesh reap corruption".


11. OCCULTISM (Leviticus 19:31; II Kings 23:8-16; II Chronicles 36:14-16).

6:14-18; Nehemiah 13:25-29).

13:19-23; Timothy 4:1,2). Sin is at the root of every evil thought.
Deliverance and healing will come when we:
1. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the doorway (sin/sins).
2. Take accountability for whatever happened.
3. Forgive others and/or yourself.
4. Confess your sin to God and ask Him to forgive you of your sin (1 John 1:9).
5. Break soul ties with every person involved.
6. Break generational curses.
7. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse and sanctify your conscience from all defilement by His precious blood
(Psalm 51:2,10).
8. Submit yourself to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
9. Praise Jesus for His deliverance and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you up with Himself.

Expect not thy husband to give thee as many luxuries as thy father hath given thee after many years of hard labor. (Phil 4:11; Amos 4:1)

Thou shalt work hard to build thy house with the husband that you have, not fantasizing about "the one that could have been". (Prov 14:1)

Thou shalt not nag...hit him with thine frying pan, it is kindlier. (Prov 27:15; 21:19)

Thou shalt coddle thy husband and be a warm wife. (1 Cor 7:3-5)

Remember that the frank approval of thy husband is more to thee than the side glances of many strangers. (Ezek 16:32; 2 Pet 2:14)

Thou shalt not yell at thy husband but will be a gentle and quiet spirit. (1 Pet 3:1-4)

Permit no one to assure thee that thou art having a hard time of it. (1 Pet 5:9)

Thou shall not fail to dress up for thy husband with an eye to please him, as thou didst before marriage. (Sos 4:9-11)

Thou shalt submit to thy husband from thy heart and allow him to be head of the household. (Col 3:18; 1 Pet 3:6; Eph 5:33)

Thou shalt assure thy husband and others that he is the greatest man alive. (Phil 2:3; )

(Deuteronomy 4:29-31 NKJV) "But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. {30} "When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice {31} '(for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.
(1 Chronicles 16:10-11 NKJV) Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! {11} Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!
(1 Chronicles 28:9 NKJV) "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
(2 Chronicles 7:14-15 NKJV) "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. {15} "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

A is for Accountability.
Hold your children accountable for their behavior.
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

B is for Boundaries.
Set specific limits, and make clear the repercussions if those limits are exceeded.
C is for Consistency.
Hold to the same principles and practices.
Rom 2:21-22 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
D is for Discipline.
Make the punishment fit the crime. Never discipline in anger.
Prov 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
E is for Example.
Children are in greater need of models than critics. Set a good example.
John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
F is for Forgiveness.
Practice it and teach the importance of forgiving.
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
G is for Giving.
Teach the joy of giving, not only to family and friends, but to strangers in need.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
H is for sense of Humor.
Keep your sense of humor. Promote laughter with your children.
Prov 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Prov 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
I is for Imagination.
Be creative, and play with your children. Read and sing with them.
Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
J is for Justice.
Be fair, and insist that they be fair, also.
Col 3:24-25 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
K is for Knowing your children's friends and their parents as well as their teachers.
L is for Listening.
Listen to your children. It will teach them how to listen to others, and their thoughts will give you insights.
James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
M is for Morals.
Be sure your own standard of conduct is sound.
1 Pet 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
N is for No.
Use it, and mean it.
Exodus 20. "Thou shalt not...."
O is for Over-reacting.
Give the kid a brake. Be firm, but don't act as if the world is coming to an end. Remember that they are, but flesh.
Psa 78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
P is for Pressure.
Reduce the pressure on your children, but insist they maintain high standards.
Phil 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Q is for Questions.
Pay close attention to their questions and give simple answers unless they demand more.
1 Pet 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
R is for Respect.
Show respect, teach respect and earn respect.
Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
S is for Source of Strength.
Share your own faith or beliefs with your children. Faith can be their port in the storms of life later.
Deu 6:6-8 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
T is for Togetherness.
Have special, designated times to be together as a family--but know when to let go,too.
U is for Uniqueness.
Understand the uniqueness of each child, and let that child be who he or she is.
V is for Voice.
Tone of voice can convey more to a child than the words spoken.
Prov 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
W is for Words.
Keep your word. Promises broken destroy trust.
Eccl 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
X is for eXamine.
Examine constantly and be aware.
Y is for You.
Take care of yourself mentally, physicaly and spiritually. A happy parent helps a child to be happy.

"It is plain that God wants most of our flesh covered..The Bible informs us that Adam and Eve had on no covering, and after they sinned, they were ashamed. I don’t think they were ashamed together, but they were afraid that God would see them, for they hid together from God. We are told to dress modestly (I Timothy 2:9).One of the most obvious ways we can obey that command is to look differently from the world.

The serious Christian will not follow the fashions of the sinful world. God has said, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (II Corinthians 6:17).
The Bible clearly states that we are to show reverence to God and to the things that represent His person and presence. Since the church is the house of God Our dressing be modest in the sanctuary and should always be respectful and reverent towards God
Jonah 3:5 Then the people of Nineveh believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them.
2 Kings 1:1 And when King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth and entered the house of the LORD.
Rev 11:3 And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
Jeremiah 6:26 O daughter of my people, put on sackcloth and roll in ashes; Mourn as for an only son, A lamentation most bitter. For suddenly the destroyer Will come upon us.
Daniel 9:3 So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes.
Luke 10:13 Woe to you , Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
The previous verses describe how people in the past dressed to please the Lord. They dressed in sackcloth to humble themselves before the Lord. Sackcloth is dark goat hair used in making sacks, and worn in times of mourning.
I Peter 3:3-4 says "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit
1 Thes 4:1-5 ‘Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God.’
The following are Bible verses have to do with those who dress up to impress other people.
Mark 12:38 In His teaching He was saying:"Beware of the scribes who like to walk around in long robes, and like respectful greetings in the market places,
Matt 23:5 But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments.
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” (I Timothy 2:9-10)
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” (Titus 2:12)
Those whose hearts are inclined toward God will make every effort to dress modestly, decently, and appropriately. Those whose hearts are included toward self will dress in a manner designed to draw attention to themselves with little or no regard for the consequences to themselves or others.
Further, by dressing in an immodest fashion, displaying her body for men to lust after, she causes her brothers in Christ to sin, something condemned by God (Matthew 5:27-29). If a woman’s heart is inclined toward godliness, she will wear clothing that is neither provocative nor revealing in public.
Now let us look at God’s attitude towards nakedness as expressed in the Bible.
Exodus 32:25And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
The Lord said that nakedness is shameful.
Exodus 20:26Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
If nakedness was not an area of great concern to the Lord, then He would not have given the issue so much attention. He made sure to cover all avenues to ensure that the nakedness of His people would not be exposed.
Isaiah 20:4So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
Again the word shame is used…
Genesis 9:22-25, tells the story of Noah and his sons, and how he cursed Canaan because he saw him naked.
Leviticus 18:7-20
Speaks about uncovering the nakedness of someone that is not your wife or husband, God said to do so is wickedness.
God’s feelings on the subject of nakedness in the Bible are consistent. Nakedness is an abomination.
Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
In Proverbs 7:10 and it reads - "And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtle of heart."
"Mini-clothes are symbolic of those girls who want to seduce a man..." Conversely, formfitting dresses, gauchos and pants, and various forms of nakedness as "swim suits," shorts, sun suits, bare chests, slit skirts, mini skirts, unbuttoned shirts and blouses, etc., send a message about wrong inner character. Why would anyone professing Christ appear in a state of dress that Scripture associates with a fallen nature, drunkenness, demon possession, debauchery, degradation, idolatry, loose morals, being a prisoner, being carnal and shameful?" The devil, the fashion designer of this world and he is trying to strip us of every thread of dignity and most of us have allowed him to do just that. We should therefore promote covering, for it was pleasing to God and not little coverings that would possibly lead to support nudity that is in favor for the devil. The shorter the coverings the nearer it promotes the fashion of the devil.
John 21:7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
When Jesus met Peter he was naked, but after a relationship was established with Christ, he was clothed from head to foot with the rode of Christ’s righteousness.
Luke 8:27-3527 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
When the man who was possessed with devils met Jesus, he was naked. But after an encounter with Jesus, the Bible said that the man was clothed and in his right mind. Amen.
We love to wear the name Christian, we want to be called by his name, but that is it. Many are saying by rebelling against the spoken word, "You don't tell me what to do Lord. I will wear what I want, I will wear what I feel comfortable in." The women of this world, both Christians and non-Christians a like are allowing the perverted corrupted minds of this age to undress them. Our priority as a Christian is the biblical not the cultural. "...blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world" (Ph 2:15)
Godly men and women should conduct themselves in purity and humility—this includes how they dress. That is what God demands.

The Power of The Mind

Deadly Imaginings
Legend: A man locked in an unplugged freezer imagines himself freezing and dies.
A man finds himself kicked in a walk in freezer. He is convinced he will die and begins writing letters. He letters and with a final passage where he is saying he cannot write anymore because his fingers are being inning to freeze. When they find him dead, not only do they find the letters but they discover that the freezers’ temperature never dropped beloved 50 degrees. Thus, the man pretty much psyched himself to death.
More details: The expression “worried to death” has more truth to it than you might think.
There is a story about Nick Sitzmen, a strong, young bull-of –a-man, who worked on the train crew. It seemed Nick had everything: a strong healthy body, ambition, a wife and two children, and many friends, However, Nick had one fault. He was a notorious worrier. He worried about everything and usually feared the worst. One midsummer day, the train crew was informed that they could quit an hour early in honor of the foreman’s birthday. Accidentally, Nick was locked in a refrigerator boxcar, and the rest of the workmen left the site. Nick panicked.
He banged and shouted until his fists were bloody and his voice was hoarse. No one heard him. “If I can’t get out, I’ll freeze to death in here. he thought. Wanting to let his wife and family know exactly what had happened to him, Nick found a knife and began to etch words on the wooden floor. He wrote, “It’s so cold my body is getting numb. If I could just go to sleep, these may be my last words.”
The next Morning the crew slid open the heavy doors of the boxcar and found Nick dead. An autopsy revealed that every physical sign of his body indicated he had frozen to death. And yet the refrigeration unit of the car was inoperative, and the temperature inside indicated fifty five degrees. Nick had killed himself by the power of worry.
The dead man is trapped in either a walk in freezer or a refrigerated boxcar, but in neither case does the internal temperature of the container drop to a level that would have threatened his life.
Origins: Can someone really think himself to death? That is the point of this legend: the mind is a powerful thing so powerful that it can kill.

According to the Bible, living the overcoming, victorious Christian life involves testifying (confessing) to what the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus has done and is doing for me now.
The Blood of Jesus is the Blood of the new covenant which has been shed for me. (Luke 22:20)
The Blood of Jesus is the Blood of the everlasting covenant which is in force for me for all eternity. (Hebrews 13:20)
The life is in the Blood of Jesus, therefore the very life of God lives in my spirit and flows into my soul (mind, will and emotions) and into my physical body. (Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:11)
Through faith in the Blood of Jesus I have been redeemed, bought from the hand of the enemy. Therefore I am no longer in the kingdom of darkness but through the Blood I have been translated into the Kingdom of God's dear Son. (Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 1:18-19; Acts 20:28; Hebrews 9:12)
The Blood of Jesus is very precious to me because of its cleansing power from all sin and unrighteousness, which includes all the consequences and effects of sin. (I John 1:7, 9; Hebrews 10:10-25; Revelation 19:7-9)
Through the precious Blood of Jesus I have been made unto God a king and a priest and have been given authority to reign with him on the earth now and for all eternity. (Revelation 5:9-10; Romans 5:17 The Amplified Bible)

I have faith in the power of the Blood of Jesus and the Word of God to provide protection for my spirit, soul, body, family, home, and everything that concerns me. When I submit myself to the Word of God, resist the devil, and exercise faith in the power of the Blood, the wicked one cannot touch me. (I John 5:18; Luke 10:19; Psalm 91)
Because of what the Blood and the Word has done for me I am continually overcoming the world, the flesh and the devil. I refuse to be defeated! (Revelation 12:11; I John 5:4-5)
On the basis of the Blood of Jesus I have a standing of eternal sonship with all of it's rights and privileges. (Romans 8:15-17; I John 3:1-2)
On the ground of Jesus' Blood I have a legal right to use the Name of Jesus. (Philippians 2:7-11; John 16:23; Mark 16:17-18)
I have authority to Plead The Blood Of Jesus. Jesus' Blood is alive and speaks on our behalf today. (Hebrews 12:24-25) Many examples from the Bible show the relationship between the Blood of Jesus and a particular benefit such as redemption, forgiveness of sins, cleansing, sanctification, healing and prosperity. When I plead the Blood, it is a valid, scriptural expression of my faith in that Blood. I will testify to the power of the Blood and the Word of God, thereby robbing Satan of his power to defeat me. I will say boldly and confidently: "Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you. I hold the blood against you and declare on the authority of God's Word that Jesus' Blood does now overcome you, sin, every sickness, disease, pain, lack, poverty and every evil work. Flee Now in Jesus' Name!"
