How persistent is your prayer life?

Today's Scripture
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.- (Mark 1:35).
Thoughts for Today
We can find optimism in this life when Christ lives within us. We can find joyful hope when we put our relationship with Christ first and spend regular time fellowshipping with Him in prayer. A close relationship with God will give us joy in the midst of trouble, victory in times of temptations, fruitfulness and blessings in times of uncertainty. A solid prayer life will give us confidence when everything else is crumbling around us.
How persistent is your prayer life? Is prayer the first activity to be cut when your life becomes overscheduled? Do you skip prayer time on the days when you feel tired or ill or apathetic? Are your prayers half-hearted attempts to fulfill a ritual or appease your guilt?
If your prayer life has been lacking, confess to God today how you have neglected this important aspect of your relationship with Him. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s help to guide you in your prayers, to motivate you to spend time with Him, to give you the self-discipline to stay focused in prayer, and to prepare your heart for the presence of God.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, forgive me for neglecting my prayer life. I pray that You would guide me as I pray and help me to be committed to making prayer a priority in my life. Thank You for the privilege of prayer. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
Have a Blessed Monday and God Bless you.

Again from the beginning !! By Payal James

Twisted poison burning into my soul
Never ending pain and torture eating my inside Soul
Having that anger digs deep down in my soul,
This is something that we all go through,

Thinking to run away
but there is no place to go
Its there where ever I go,

As I step further
Into the pits of despair
I called out for help
over and over
trying all this time to fight,
Failed myself and I don't know why,
I've trusted them and
they didn't come through
May be this time
I should try something new,

I prayed to God so I'll know his will
I've prayed and prayed and I don't know still
I want to stop
or i can
START OVER again,,

I've not finished and
I dont want to quit
When I've found myself in life's deepest pit
I wanna try and try to get out of it,

Each Day is new
Each day is Challenge
Each day can bring new hope

May be yesterday u were a Trash
But today if u ready to remember and START OVER
You are a TREASURE

Life is tuff,
People are too rude,
Still what matters is Who u are ?
Who you desire to be ?

So, y not Forgive others
and Start over,

God Never Takes things Away simply untill he have better to give it to u

TESTIMONY: Abdul Hakim

I praise and thank God for giving me an opportunity to share the Lord’s work in my life through your circulation. Believing it will touch and encourage many for the Kingdom of God.

I come from a very strict Muslim family. Only son in whole family. My Father was with Indian Air Force. I grew up in different parts of the country, as we were on transfers. I did my schooling in Delhi and other parts of north India. From early age I was taught about my religion and I grew with deep love for God. Started keeping fasting for 40 days (Ramzan) when I was in 6th standard. I came down to Kodiakanal (South India) in Tamil Nadu to pursue my Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management. It was here that I had a personal encounter with my Lord and Savior.

It all started one night, as I was alone in my Hostel room, I heard a voice speaking to me,” Abdul, Jesus loves you.” I was in disbelief, as I found none around me. I was gripped with fear. No one would believe me if I told this. And it continued for some days, I was completely in state, where I couldn’t share with anybody, what I was going through. One of my friends had given me Bible sometime back. Within me something inspired to read the bible. I didn’t know how to read or where to start from. I began to read from the Gospel of Matthew and found the teachings very simple and interesting.

Slowly as the time passed by, I began to fall in love with the word of God. From then on, nothing stopped me from reading the bible. I had no one telling me about Jesus or taught me from bible. As I began to read Bible, I realized that I was a sinner and accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. I became hungrier to know the truth.

The new faith that I accepted brought the whole world against me. Persecution began from them. I was beaten, bruised, cut, ragged, tortured, insulted publically, humiliated and disowned by all my friends and whole college. Muslim students wanted to kill me. Christian brothers thought that I was fooling around with their God and warned me, not to touch Bible. Hind folks thought that I had gone psyche. The persecution increased from the room mates of different denominations. I would sneak away to isolated places to read the bible and have fellowship with God. I developed A Father and son relationship with my Jesus. The Holy Spirit was my teacher. I would clearly hear the voice of God speaking to me.

Eventually, I began to fellowship with a spirit filled church and became actively involved in the ministry. I took my immersion baptism in a stream by the valley and that was a tremendous experience of being a born again. He worked, talked and walked with me every day. The song, “I’ve decided to follow Jesus, no turning back….” Was something I knew and loved and wanted it to by my story!

By the grace of God, I was able to minister and bring few souls to the kingdom of God in the same college and brought 12 souls to the lord.

The real challenge was to break this news to my parents. When I disclosed to them, they were shattered and filled with grief. My parent’s hostility and grief made me sad. But that did not deter my faith in Christ because I knew one day they will know and taste the Lord for he is good and merciful. My constant prayer is that my family and all my relatives will come to the knowledge of Christ.

From there on, there has been no looking back and God has opened doors in a way that I cannot imagine. He’s blessed me with a good job and family. I take every opportunity to share the gospel to my colleagues and friends. Many have been touched and are serving the Lord today. May the mighty God lead you and Bless you.

All the glory and honor belongs to my Jesus. Amen!

In Christ,

M Abdul Hakim

Power within Silence

A saint asked his disciples, "Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?"

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, "Because we lose our calm, we shout for that."

"But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you?" asked the saint. "Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?"

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, "When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance."

"When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return."

Then the saint asked, "What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small..."

The saint continued, "When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other."

Likewise, the more you love God the less audible he will be... God speaks in silences, and only those who are quiet of heart can hear what he says. The underlying reality is that there is no friendship with God without silence. This "silence" does not mean just keeping noise levels low; it is the form of pure truthfulness. Unless one has learned to stop, be quiet and listen to another, then one remains locked in one's own little world. In silence we make the wonderful and liberating discovery that we are not gods, but just creatures.

"For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him." (Psalm 62:5)

When a quiet moment comes and we sit before the Lord, what comes to mind may not be a moral thought or a feeling of praise. We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. In silence, we have no choice but to trust God. There is a divine impulse within us that knows there is a power within silence; knows the truth of the divine and is afraid to listen. One of the reasons silence is awkward for so many, is a subconscious, unknown fear. Fear of what we might hear.

Scripture says it is in silence we have peace. It is silence we have true intimacy with our creator. In the silence we renew our strength. As we go beyond awkwardness, we discover silence is amazing. We have nothing to fear from silence.

In the silence of the heart God speaks. If you face God in prayer and silence, God will speak to you. Then you will know that you are nothing. It is only when you realize your nothingness, your emptiness, that God can fill you with Himself. Souls of prayer are souls of great silence.

When was the last time you sat with God in awkward silence?

Are you worried and depressed about your old sins

As I normally mingle with teens and the youths,I have seen remembering the old sins and some times don't have the assurance of the forgiveness of their sins.
Are you caught up in the same cage than this message is for you only.

Word of God says  "Come now and let us reason together, says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18) and also
"For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:11-12)

Micah 7:18-20

New International Version (NIV)
18 Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
    but delight to show mercy.
19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Above said verse tells us that what ever our sins may be,he is faithful to forgive us and he forgets and the reminder normally comes from Satan who is a deceiver,Be careful and check who is condemning you.Our Lord never condemn,If the thought of old sin comes just tell the Satan to leave in Jesus name and you will be relieved.

Some times if some one is in wrong relationship before salvation and it happens to meet the same person, immediately the old thing comes as a flash back. Before starting any communication tell him or her that you are a new creation and so no place for the old thoughts.

Don't wait for an oppurtunity to share about his goodness in your life.

Remember the more you share about his goodness, more you will be away from Satan.

Let us thrive for a victorious life is the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the good Lord bless you.

"The Empty Egg"

Jeremy was born with a twisted body and a slow mind. At the age of 12 he was still in second grade, seemingly unable to learn. His teacher, Doris Miller, often became exasperated with him. He would squirm in his seat, drool, and make grunting noises. At other times, he spoke clearly and distinctly, as if a spot of light had penetrated the darkness of his brain. Most of the time, however, Jeremy just irritated his teacher. One day she called his parents and asked them to come in for a consultation.

As the Forresters entered the empty classroom, Doris said to them, "Jeremy really belongs in a special school. It isn't fair to him to be with younger children who don't have learning problems. Why, there is a five year gap between his age and that of the other students." Mrs. Forrester cried softly into a tissue, while her husband spoke. "Miss Miller," he said, "there is no school of that kind nearby. It would be a terrible shock for Jeremy if we had to take him out of this school. We know he really likes it here." Doris sat for a long time after they had left, staring at the snow outside the window. Its coldness seemed to seep into her soul. She wanted to sympathize with the Forresters. After all, their only child had a terminal illness. But it wasn't fair to keep him in her class. She had 18 other youngsters to teach, and Jeremy was a distraction. Furthermore, he would never learn to read and write. Why waste any more time trying? As she pondered the situation, guilt washed over her. Here I am complaining when my problems are nothing compared to that poor family, she thought.

Lord, please help me to be more patient with Jeremy. From that day on, she tried hard to ignore Jeremy's noises and his blank stares. Then one day, he limped to her desk, dragging his bad leg behind him. "I love you, Miss Miller," he exclaimed, loud enough for the whole class to hear. The other students snickered, and Doris' face turned red. She stammered, "Wh-why that's very nice, Jeremy. N-now please take your seat."

Spring came, and the children talked excitedly about the coming of Easter. Doris told them the story of Jesus, and then to emphasize the idea of new life springing forth, she gave each of the children a large plastic egg.

"Now," she said to them, "I want you to take this home and bring it back tomorrow with something inside that shows new life. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Miss Miller," the children responded enthusiastically-all except for Jeremy.

He listened intently; his eyes never left her face. He did not even make his usual noises. Had he understood what she had said about Jesus' death and resurrection? Did he understand the assignment? Perhaps she should call his parents and explain the project to them. That evening, Doris' kitchen sink stopped up. She called the landlord and waited an hour for him to come by and unclog it. After that, she still had to shop for groceries, iron a blouse, and prepare a vocabulary test for the next day. She completely forgot about phoning Jeremy's parents.

The next morning, 19 children came to school, laughing and talking as they placed their eggs in the large wicker basket on Miss Miller's desk. After they completed their math lesson, it was time to open the eggs. In the first egg, Doris found a flower. "Oh yes, a flower is certainly a sign of new life," she said. "When plants peek through the ground, we know that spring is here." A small girl in the first row waved her arm. "That's my egg, Miss Miller," she called out. The next egg contained a plastic butterfly, which looked very real. Doris held it up. "We all know that a caterpillar changes and grows into a beautiful butterfly. Yes, that's new life, too." Little Judy smiled proudly and said, "Miss Miller, that one is mine." Next, Doris found a rock with moss on it. She explained that moss, too, showed life. Billy spoke up from the back of the classroom, "My daddy helped me," he beamed. Then Doris opened the fourth egg. She gasped. The egg was empty. Surely it must be Jeremy's she thought, and of course, he did not understand her instructions. If only she had not forgotten to phone his parents. Because she did not want to embarrass him, she quietly set the egg aside and reached for another.

Suddenly, Jeremy spoke up. "Miss Miller, aren't you going to talk about my egg?"
Flustered, Doris replied, "But Jeremy, your egg is empty"
He looked into her eyes and said softly, "Yes, but Jesus' tomb was empty, too."
Time stopped. When she could speak again, Doris asked him, "Do you know why the tomb was empty?"
"Oh, yes," Jeremy said, "Jesus was killed and put in there. Then His Father raised Him up."

The recess bell rang. While the children excitedly ran out to the schoolyard, Doris cried. The cold inside her melted completely away. Three months later, Jeremy died. Those who paid their respects at the mortuary were surprised to see 19 eggs on top of his casket, all of them empty.

Then He said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For he who least among you all - he is the greatest." - Luke 9 : 48.

"The Story of A Generous Business Partner"

 Author Unknown...

One day, a very wealthy man was walking on the road. Along the way, he saw a beggar on the sidewalk. The rich man looks kindly on the beggar and asked, "How did you become a beggar?"

The beggar said, "Sir, I've been applying for a job for a year now but haven't found any. You look like a rich man. Sir, if you'll give me a job, I'll stop begging."

The rich man smiled and said, "I want to help you. But I won't give you a job. I'll do something better. I want you to be my business partner. Let's start a business together."

The beggar blinked hard. He didn't understand what the older man was saying. "What do you mean, Sir?"

"I own a rice plantation. You could sell my rice in the market. I'll provide you the sacks of rice. I'll pay the rent for the market stall. I'll even give you food allowance everyday for the next 30 days. All you'll have to do is sell my rice. And at the end of the month, as Business Partners, we'll share in the profits."

Tears of joy rolled down his cheeks. "Oh Sir," he said, "you're a gift from Heaven. You're the answer to my prayers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He then paused and said, "Sir, how will we divide the profits? Do I keep 10% and you get the 90%? Do I keep 5% and you get the 95%? I'll be happy with any arrangement."

The rich man shook his head and chuckled. "No, I want you to give me the 10%. And you keep the 90%."

For a moment, the beggar couldn't speak. When he tried to speak, it was gibberish. "Uh, gee, uh, wow, I mean, huh?" He couldn't believe his ears. The deal was too preposterous.

The rich man laughed more loudly. He explained, "I don't need the money, my friend. I'm already wealthy beyond what you can ever imagine. I want you to give me 10% of your profits so you grow in faithfulness and gratitude."

The beggar knelt down before his benefactor and said, "Yes Sir, I will do as you say. Even now, I'm so grateful for what you've done for me!"

And so that was what happened…

He Forgets Where The Blessings Came From

Each day, the beggar—now dressed a little bit better—operated a store selling rice in the market. He worked very hard. He woke up early in the morning and slept late at night. And sales were brisk, also because the rice was of good quality. And after 30 days, the profits were astounding.

At the end of the month, as the ex-beggar was counting the money, and liking very much the feeling of money in his hands, an idea grew in his mind. He told himself, "Gee, why should I give 10% to my Business Partner? I didn't see him the whole month! I was the one who was working day and night for this business. I did all this work! I deserve the 100% profits!"

A few minutes later, the rich man was knocking on the door to collect his 10% of the profits. The ex-beggar opened the door and said, "You don't deserve the 10%. I worked hard for this. I deserve all of it!" And he slammed the door.

If you were his Business Partner, how would you feel?

Friend, this is exactly what happens to us…

God Gave Us Everything, God is Our Business Partner

God gave us life—every single moment, every single breath, every single second… God gave us talents—ability to talk, to create, to earn money… God gave us a body—eyes, ears,   mouth,   hands,   feet,  heart… God gave us mind—  imagination,   emotions,   reasoning,   language…

So we need to give back Our Business Partner something in return.

God Bless you all !!!!!
